EDUCATION IN RUSSIA:

ELIGIBILITY:

• Candidates for admission to Russian higher education is supposed to have the level of education equivalent to the full secondary education in Russia.
• The gap between the time you graduate college school, college or technical and time to enter any institution of higher education in Russia should not exceed 3 years. It is preferable that the age of candidates for admission does not exceed 27 years.
• Candidates who have a Master of Science / Arts degree in postgraduate studies at Russian universities. Age does not exceed 35 years.

 STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Letter of invitation from the Foreign Ministry or its regional headquarters. 
• Degree candidate or a teaching certificate, certified by the state or federal.
• General health certificate of the candidate in his / state of health.
• A copy of the certificate of HIV testing.
•  Confirmation of the payment arrangement directly from university students, institute or university to come to study.
• Applicant's original passport with at least 2 clean side by side pages to attach the visa. 
• The passport must be valid for 6 months after the planned departure from Russia.
• 2 dated and signed application forms for visas.
• Two identical passport size.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

 There are different types of scholarships in Russia, funded by the government and financed by the other study abroad organizations.

• The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship provides funding of up to $ 7,000 for graduate students.
• The David L. Boren Scholarship provides funding of approx. $ 26,000 to graduate students and for graduate students.
• The FAA study abroad student scholarships fund many at a cost of $ 1,000 and $ 2,000 for many students in a given school year.
