EDUCATION IN TOKYO

LEVELS:

Elementary 1:Total Beginner

This course is best suited for students who have had little or not training in Japanese.Students are trained to acquire fundamental skills in listening,speaking,reading and writing.Basic Vocabulary,grammar,sentence structures,and simple texts.Hiragana and katagana writing systems are introduced.Oral excercisess and drills ensure that participants learn the correct pronounciation and intonation.

Elementary 2:Beginner

This level is for those who have had some japanese training.This course builds on simple sentence structures and grammar,and builds vocabulary for everyday topics.Hiragana and Katakana writing systems are taught more completely using excercises that include simple letters,short essays,and reports.correct pronounciation and intonation is empasized in oral expressions.At the end of this course,students are expected to know oer 700 words,about 100 Hiragana,Katakana,Kanji in context,and have basic speaking skills.

*Intermediate 1:

This level is for students who are able to engage is conversation on everyday topics.classes focus on improving vocabulary,grammar,which enable them to function effectively in diferent contexts.Topics incude japanese culture and civilisation,useing literature to build vocabulary and provide a greater awareness of japanese culture and society.writing,oral expression,and listening comprehension skills are emphasized.
